[BUG-9371] Allen-Bradley Logix Driver - Diagnostic Tags Bad Quality?

I haven’t heard anything, other than they say its a known issue.

I don’t know why this got buried/ignored for so long, I’ll take a look at this today.

Thanks, Kevin.

We’re on 7.9.10 now, and I am looking to see if we still experience the issue. I had all but forgotten about it.

I’ll let you know what I see.

Same here…haven’t revisited this. But I figure…if it ain’t broken anymore…take the credit and move on!

@Kevin.Herron Is the fix mentioned in the release notes for 7.8.12 related to this issue?

Thanks,

I received an email from Peggie stating it is resolved in 7.9.12.

Yes, should be something like:

Fix subscription bookkeeping bug that lead to bad quality diagnostic tags.

Hi,

I see that it is corrected in the Logix V21 Driver.
We still use the old driver for some PLCs for the efficiency of scanning lots of tags in PLCs that use complex and nested user defined data types.
Any possibility the fix can be applied to the old driver?

Thank you,

John

This isn’t a known/tracked issue with the old driver and the fix doesn’t apply because they are different codebases.

If you think you’re experiencing the same issue and you’re on the latest version get in touch with support.
