Editing or Creating a Perspective View via Script

In case this helps anyone, here’s how you can modify (or create) a Perspective View (or any non-binary resource really) via script. You can call this from any gateway scope, including from a Perspective Button action. To find the correct props.config you would have to copy it from the view.json file of a tag you made correct (especially if you use transofrm scripts as it needs to be escaping a bunch of characters)

Thanks. And to clarify, im trying to append tooltips into the .json TAG EXPORT, then import them back in, not a window/view. (almost all of our applications are in vision) Im not sure i follow. i get the decode and encode. If you do have an executable would it be to much for me to ask for a copy? Ever since IA got away from CSV tag exports its made manipulating tags very difficult.(i realize there is always a way with scripting but im a novice at python/scripting at best) as we migrate more…
