Ignition and Siemens 840D (SL / PL / classic) communiation

Hello Gentlemen,

I have a question does Ignition support communication with Siemens 840D (SL / PL / classic). via Ignitions Native drivers.

AFAIK, the Sinumerik has two controlers; one for CNC and another for PLC.

You can access the PLC with Ignition S7-300 driver.

You can’t have one without another…

does sinumerik 840D have separate CNC and PLC controller?
