FYI this adds a button to designer. untested on 8.3 and it’s not perfect - occasionally requires hitting it twice.

Actually we got touchscreen working really perfectly with Linux+Perspective workstation, including multi-finger and everything. But this is true that it is not an exact science as the digitizer needs to be properly configured (default hardware settings may not be appropriate).
But once it is done, it is working really great.
If interested, we can discuss at ICC (will have one visible on Plantformance booth).

What Linux distro are you working with as I’ve noticed differences between Ubuntu, Kubuntu, PopOS, etc in playing with them all in hopes of finding the perfect combo.

That is one of the questions I planned on asking them at ICC 
Fedora Silverblue and tweaking.

I just installed 8.3 while working on other things...and didn't pay attention to how to start it. It's a local installation. I tried localhost, 127.0.0.1 in the browser with and without a port. I see there are a couple of potential candidate files in the directory I could click...
It is better to start a new topic. Also, check if the service is running. Have you finished through commissioning, if it is clean install or not?
had to logon as admin and start the service.
