No, not really.
What version of the JDBC driver you need depends on the version of Java (11 for Ignition 8+) and the version of SQL Server you are connecting to.

Also if by AD auth you're talking about integrated security or whatever I don't think that works at all on Linux. On Windows there are extra steps where you need to put a Microsoft-provided DLL into the right location.
