Let me refine my explanation. For example, the entire factory's pure water system runs from a single PLC, but the tags for each pure water valve are scattered across corresponding production line folders. Each production line has multiple power meters, each considered a PLC, stored as UDTs within subfolders of the production line folder. Within the production line folder, there's an Expression tag called power_summary that calculates the total for all power meters in that line. My point is, perhaps we should organize tags by how they're used, rather than where they come from. This would be cumbersome, but it's essentially a one-time effort.
