Aside from performance, if you have other recommendations, I am interested.
I know I am a little late to comment, it looks like the two pumps are pointing in the same direction.
The two valves are manual valves on the suction sides of the pumps are only controlled manually and they don't have positioners to indicate the opening.,
The pumps on the discharge side of the pumps should not be open or close because they are supposed to be controlling the pressure.
If your tank is pressurized, you need a pressure sensor before the valve.
Finally, I normally tell people to model their process as close to the physical set up as possible because you do not want to confuse the operators.
