What version of Ignition are you using? In 7.9.10 or 11, I forget exactly which, we made MySQL connections automatically append the gateway timezone as a connection property if a different timezone is not specified (MySQL 8 required the argument, from what I recall).
Yes I am using the 7.9.10 version.
