In 2019 there was a post about the changes that occurred at that time:
In a similar way, changes to the integrator program occurred this year. My recollection is that it was announced in December 2024, but I thought we had until our Gold expiration date of Nov 2025 to meet the $25k in sales requirement to maintain Gold status. We just found out we were already demoted, and it hurt us in a bid.
Perhaps we missed something. Can anyone show me notification from Inductive Automation stating what the integrator program changes were and when they would go into effect? How much time were we given to meet the new requirements?
Correct, it is $25k onetime, not an annual requirement. The problem is I don't remember any notification of how much time we have to meet that requirement before we were demoted. We just lost a bid because we didn't get the gold discount.
Does anyone know of a notification with that information? I want to know if we missed it.
I don't ever remember anything being sent out, but I think we hit that number early on, so it may not have ever applied to us. $25k is retail cost too, not discounted cost, so it doesn't take much unless you're only selling small edge systems. (A couple of standard installs with Historian, and unlimited clients gets you to the $25k)
Can you post that email? I remember getting notified but don't remember seeing when our status would get demoted. I would like to read it to see if I missed something.
I got this information already in December 2024 from IA:
Effective January 1, 2025, a company must have a minimum of $25,000 in direct or influenced software sales and one Gold Certified engineer before reaching the Gold level.
That is what I was looking for. Was this an email you received? If so, I either didn't remember reading this or maybe I didn't get the email. Is it possible to post the entire email to see what else it said?
