I usually hear about this sort of stuff sooner. Announcements came out in September. Those of you using a 3G cellular connection are about to get hosed.

And here some services still use NMT in sweden 
im sure it will happen someday but I still have customers using 2G modems and that was supposed to be shutdown in 2016.
T-Mobile was going to keep 2G around until the end of 2022. I guess the point is that the time to do any sort of controls upgrades is before it stops working…
