I created an ellipse on the screen and then bound the timer value property to the angle of the ellipse. Voila a nice rotating ellipse. I then dragged the ellipse to where I wanted it while it was still rotating. Unfortunately, the center of rotation didn’t move with the ellipse so now I have an ellipse floating around the screen. Hilarious but not very practical.
Actually this type of motion might be useful. However, you need to give us control of the axis location.
I found the axis, it is only visible when the object has its rotation ‘handles’ visible. Please make the axis (center of rotation) a property we can adjust on the property editor.
For now you’ll have to make do with editing it visually when the selection handles are in rotate mode.
