I was looking over the official release notes for 8.3.7 on the Inductive Automation Website. Underneath the Perspective section it states "Many Functions" for what was changed. It wasn't clear to me what that meant exactly.
I went to the Nightly 8.3 Changelogs, and looked over every post for 8.3.7 to see if more details were given there. I didn't see any further explanation, only statements for what was already stated on separate lines in the release notes, such as the issues with the Alarm Status Table.
I would appreciate if anyone could either explain what "Many Functions" is, or point me to where I can read what exactly was changed. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!
Seems likely... not sure how that got mangled.
I'd argue that shouldn't even have gotten a release note to begin with - it's not a user-facing change.
That makes sense, thank you!
Ah I didn't catch that. I only looked for posts with a 8.3.7 tag on them. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
It looks like every changelog entry has been truncated at the first comma.
Another example is "Users can now add notes for Action", which should read "Users can now add notes for Action, Transition, Parallel, and Enclosing steps.", from Nightly 8.3 Changelogs - 2026 and beyond - #86 by system
It looks like at least the changelog for 8.1.53 shares the same problem, along with having some extra quotes I don't think were supposed to be included.
