We have an Ignition gateway version 8.0.1 (b2019050708) connecting to a few PLCs using AB ComPactLogix Legacy driver. There had been a few times where some of the tags but not all on the PLCs went into an unknown state (with the tag showing green question mark). We got the tags back to good state after restarting the tag through the mouse right-click options.
What would cause these tags to go to unknown state and not other tags? (on the same PLC) and what can we do to stop this from reoccurring? Some tags are on 1 second scan and some are on 200ms scan scan.
