Active alarms report

Hi,
I’d like to generate a report for the active alarms to be emailed at the end of the day, what would be a good way to approach this task?

In 7.8 you can query the Alarm Journal for your data source. Have you tried that?

I query alarm_event _data and , but I’m unable to order by status and priority similar to the way alarms are displayed in the alarm status table, I need this in the form of a report to email out automatically. below is a screen of the tables from SQL [attachment=0]Untitled.png[/attachment]
