Active Directory User Source with ADFS and not LDAP

Hello,

I have a customer that would like to have a user source from Active Directory. They dismissed LDAP and they have AD or ADFS, but I just found in the following link that only LDAP or SASL.

Do you if it is possible, and in case how to implement this request?

If you move to 8.1, you can use an Identity Provider throughout your gateway, including for Vision clients:
https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC81/Configuring+Identity+Providers, which will likely allow you to use your ADFS provider.
