This is not currently possible. We have ticket IGN-2467 in our internal backlog tracking a new feature to add custom attributes mapped from the IdP to Ignition.

Sorry for bring a few month old topic back up, but has there been any movement on this?

There's no movement on this. It's still in the "incubation" phase and probably not being prioritized over the mountains of 8.3 work we're all doing.

does one of those happen to be adding the badge to the mapping?

Not that I'm aware of, but this isn't really an area I'm looped into. The last work related to badge attributes I can see was about adding it to pure AD user sources.

I'm guessing the ability to do custom attribute mappings would cover whatever the badge attribute might be. I don't see any separate tickets.

I doubt there is any progress on this becoming a feature yet (though hopefully it will soon :slightly_smiling_face: )

As a workaround - I would think one could sneak additional properties in through the “Roles” attribute since it is a multi-valued string array. It’s a bit messy but entering badge as a role called “attr:badge=12345”, you could then parse through the roles list and pull in roles that begin with attr: then use the delimiters to pull in the value when needed.
