Is there a default link for ms app launcher?

or is it a call?

I am trying to add a button for this to a page.

Do you mean to launch an app alongside the user’s browser? You can’t do that from browsers–it is a security violation. Only Vision can do that.

I will make it into a different link, a dashboard or something

Strictly speaking, you can trigger a download of an EXE. Some browsers will allow that after asking the user.

Or you can use a custom URL protocol and hope the user has an application registered to handle it.
