Adding pictures to menu tree component @perspective

How the images/logo can be uploaded manually in icon.path of Menu tree- items @perspective.
Is there any way to make some logo/image appear instead of ignition icons.
I'm not sure whether this is a good question, but still I want to know about uploading the pictures of what we want..
