Additional zone Identifiers

Hi!

Is it possible to place a session in a security zone using my own/other identifiers?

My client is using a RDS farm (in combination with thinmanager) from which they browse the client, so no matter if you are in the office or in the field, you will browse from the same set of IP/hostnames. This results in the identifies not being enough to distinguish between zones.

So I’m looking for a different solution for this. My initial idea was to start a session with a specific url representing the zone, and using scripting place that client in the security zone. But I can find if this is even possible. I can work around the existing security and make it work, but we would like to use the native security.

There's no way for such information to be passed securely in browser-based technologies. Don't use RDS for clients that need such identification to be reliable.

(Similarly, don't use Perspective at all when you need such and the connection must pass through a NAT. Only Vision can reliably interrogate local machine identity.)
