AddScheduleEntry without using a Schedule Entry controller

Hi,
is it possible to create a Schedule Entry without using the Schedule Entry module?
I want to create a Gateway Script that generate a typical week Schedule each Sunday but I didn’t find anything to create a Schedule Entry in a Gateway script…
