Any ideas on how to acknowledge an alarm in a compact logix processor and factory talk view HMI application when acknowledging it from ignition?
Logix native alarms are proprietary to FactoryTalk and are not reachable from Ignition.
The FT alarm schema in this project are not native. It was created using an add-on instruction. As such I do have access to all data contained within the instructions.
Vision or perspective? Vision alarm tables have an acknowledged event you could use to set tags in a PLC. As far as I know, perspective doesn't have the ability.
You could also use an alarm listener, then on acknowledgement you can set tags.
Vision. That's what I thought I could do. But I could not find where I could attach a script to the acknowledge button on the table that would set the values in the plc.
