I’m able to send the notification through my Gmail account, but my office uses exchange server which do not have smtp servers in use. While creating the notification account, I have a trouble getting the names for the host name and port number as we are using the exchange servers. Do you have any work around methods for this?
Does your company allow you to log into your exchange mail via a browser? If so you can use the same address and it is usually port 25.
If you are using outlook 2010 as your mail client on your computer under file/info it might give the url to access the email from the web.
By default exchange servers are not configured to use SMTP. You can try speaking with whomever is administrator of your exchange server and see if SMTP can be configured.
edit: It looks like an SMTP connector may be needed.
