Noob here. I am working on getting a system that an engineer past made. There are a ton of VFDs on this thing, but when they alarm (due to resetting network or power cycling system) a single VFD will not reset without an operator opening the cabinet and doing it themselves.
I have checked the Ignition 7.9 manual for insight, but I wasn’t seeing anything that looked helpful in the alarming section. I am pretty sure it is on the Ignition side and not the PLC side though because if I can manually clear the alarm by clicking the Fault_Ack checkbox in the tag browser.
I have compared the values between the working VFD and the problematic one and don’t see any differences (including the Permissions section).
Does anybody have insight where I might be able to look? Thanks.
