I’m having an issue with the alarm journal component showing a quality of 301. When I do run diagnostics I get “alarms$FETCH: Comm. Error”.
In console I get this: “13:22:18.889 [AWT-EventQueue-2] WARN Vision.Components.AlarmJournalTable - Error fetching alarms.
java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: com.inductiveautomation.ignition.client.gateway_interface.GatewayException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No alarm journal profile specified.”
I have database and journal profile setup in gateway. I can query and it updates in the database just fine. History works fine.
I’m running ignition version 7.9.8 on a windows server. Database is SQL Server 2012. Tried also on a local machine with SQL Server 2014, and got the same results.
The ‘no alarm journal profile specified’ bit has me confused. Is there some secret checkbox somewhere that I’m missing?
