I’m wondering: What could cause an alarm to clear with a different Event ID than it was set under?
I am attempting to build a visualization of different alarm durations, pulling data from an Alarm Journal SQL DB. I am using the event ID and Event type to identify when an alarm is set, acknowledged, and cleared.
This works for the most part, but in some cases, the Event ID is different for the Alarm Set than it is for the Alarm Clear.
This seems to be tied to how long the alarm was active. Different Alarms seem to have different thresholds for this though, with some keeping the same event ID after tens of hours and others splitting the ID after minutes. The alarms were configured by different people and I have not been able to determine what they have done differently to cause this.
