I believe there are alarm metrics at the root of the provider, just the "tag" doesn't appear. But if you address it, you'll get values.

I have a problem with alarm aggregation. In the picture I had to restart “Prosessoversikt” folder to get alarm aggregation from R100 alarm metrics up to Prosessoversikt alarm metrics as illustrated in the picture. This is v 8.3.4.
not sure what could be the reason , some times if you are changing stuff alot it can be that you need to restart a folder . but not as a go to procedure.
For some reason I recall that they only update if something is subscribing to them. Just looking at them in the tag browser doesn't necessarily update them I believe.
Try binding them to a label or something and see if they update as expected.
It looks like you’re running into a bug that will be fixed in 8.3.5. Currently available in the Nightly.

Fixed an issue where Alarm Metrics in nested folders would initialize to empty and never update.
