Alarm notification profile smtp not working with licensed gateway?

Hi guys

im having trouble using the email on the email settings on the gateway.

I had a previous thread on email settings. to which i successfully configured the SMTP and alarm notification pipeline to send email alerts. however this was successful with the gateway being on a trial period.

Now working on a gateway with license, The email settings return me with

com.sun.mail.util.MailConnectException: Couldn't connect to host, port: smtp.office365.com, 25; timeout 10000;
  nested exception is:
	java.net.UnknownHostException: smtp.office365.com

I’m using the exact same config as the the trial-gateway.
I assumed that the e-mail notification module is not an extra module to purchase?

How can I solve the issue when it works with the same settings as another gateway but the difference is licensing

An UnknownHost exception has nothing to do with licensing. That’s just a DNS failure. It looks like your production system is isolated/firewalled.
