I have made 4 alarm pipeline, but when I am assigning it to udt tags its showing none, it is their in gateway also but I don't know why its not showing in udt tag.
Hi,
I assume the tags are on the same gateway as the alarm profiles and not a remote tag provider?
Actually alarm pipeline is in central gateway and the alarm is coming from edge gateway tag provider.
How to get it in central gateway?
You will have to add the two gateways on a gateway network. Then on the edge device you will have to enable remote notification and select the central gateway you just added to the gateway network. Once you do that you should be able to see your pipelines on the edge device.
This is the setting you need to configure on the edge device.
I assume you are now able to select an alarm notification profile using the dropdown on the edge tag provider?
If so, then the issue could be in your pipeline.
- I assume you dont have any drop out conditions set on your pipelines?
- Have re-triggered the alarm (not by enabling and disabling the alarm)? As an alarm generated by enabling the alarm is treaded as an initial state event and depending on how the central gateway is configured to handle this it will either enter the pipeline or not.
This is the setting:
- I assume you have tested the pipeline in question using the test function under
Config->Alarming->Notification->Test Pipelines....?
Yeah, dropdown seems fine. Probably something in the pipeline or how the alarm is being triggered. Try re-triggering it properly and use the “Test Pipelines” option to check.
