Is there way to allow users to modify alarm setpoints within a client session? Also the ability to enable/disable individual states?
Yes, you can if your analog alarm setpoints are tag driven. You just need to give the user the ability to modify the tag value. This does require a high and low tag to be setup, either an OPC tag or DB tag. If you changed the setpoints to something that would never happen you can effectively turn off that state.
Another option is to use the SQLTags Alarm Edit goodie available on our download page. The big difference between this and Travis’ suggestion is that this one requires that you use a database driving provider for your SQLTags.
