I have a question about alarming. Using the Alarming Status Table, tags with values greater than the set value are displayed. However, although I have set the Alarm, there are still alarms that I no longer use, and I don't want the alarms that I no longer use to be displayed in the list of Alarming Status Table. Can I select the tags to be displayed in the list in the settings? If so, where can I choose? Also, if I can't select it, do I have to manually remove the alarm from the tag for alarms that I don't use?
If the alarms shouldn't be there anymore, why would you want to keep the alarm configured on the tag? (or keep the tag at all)
Either remove the alarm from the tag, or disable it on the tag.
My explanation was insufficient. I am sorry. It is an unnecessary tag for me, but for others (other systems) it is necessary. So I want the GUI I create to show only the alarms for the tags I need.
You haven't mentioned a version or module you're using, but:
- This isn't possible in Perspective. You would have to make your own alarm status table and filter it.
- In Vision, you can use the
filterAlarm
extension function to post-process alarms and filter out the ones you don't want to see using a lookup table stored somewhere.
Vision - Alarm Status Table - Ignition User Manual 8.1 - Ignition Documentation
I got what I wanted to do! Thank you so much.
