You will have to forgive me as I am extremely new to Ignition and do not completely understand its general infrastructure and operation. We recently had a contractor build a project for us and they did a really nice job. However, when we have alarms in the project, they are being acknowledged from other terminals within the plant that are running a different project. In other words. If an operator from one project has an active alarm at the same time as the new project, if the Alarm Ack button is pushed then the alarms across both projects are cleared. As I dig further, I find out this is happening across all of our projects and it's causing notifications to be missed. Is there a way to eliminate this without any major restructuring of the current Alarm Ack setup?
No, because alarms are part of tags, and tags are not project-specific resources. You will probably need to configure all of your alarms with project-specific display paths, and filter for those in your user interfaces.
