The old alarm table allowed biding to a date drop down so you could easily view a limited range of alarms based on time. Is this possible with the new alarm status table and if so how is it done?

There is no way to create a binding to show alarms between dates in the alarm status table. This table is intended to show current information and alarms that are currently in an alarm state.
The alarm journal table can be used to see historical information about alarms. This component has the ability to bind to calendar components to have a start and end date.
