What is the capacity of alarm storage if the installation does not have a alarm database?

Alarm events are not stored if there’s no alarm journal (a mechanism in Ignition that uses any database connection you have configured to store alarm data).
Alarms will still fire, and you can still see a view of active alarm data via Vision components like the alarm status table (coming soon to Perspective) but you won’t be able to look at what alarms were active at a specific point in time - you will only be able to see the current state of all alarms.
