AlarmStatusTable component vs system.alarm.queryStatus

Why don't AlarmStatusTable and system.alarm.queryStatus return the same status?
In Ignition 8.1.36 perspective I have the component ‘Alarm Status Table’; in PROPS -> filters -> active -> conditions -> displayPath I can bind a list (‘myList’) of display paths I want to filter out. But when I use system.alarm.queryStatus(displaypath= myList) I don’t get the alarms as I did in Alarm Status Table, why?

What differences are you seeing? By default the AlarmStatusTable also filters out the Cleared/Acknowledged alarms but system.alarm.queryStatus would need to include an additional parameter state to also filter out to just active (ActiveUnacked), active/acknowledged (ActiveAcked), and clear/unacknowledged (ClearUnacked).

I was hoping the same input to both would return the same output. I've played around with state, priority and provider, got help from AI and so on. But I cannot get the same result for the two. If AlarmStatusTable could return number of active alarms on its PROPS that would solve the problem for me, but it seams that its only via the view itself you can get that information.
