Alerting and linking and the file trail

I have 3 basic questions.

  1. Where in the “online manual” is alerting discussed?

  2. How can I send someone a link in an e-mail that will directly link to a project and launch it?

  3. Where are the settings if any to not leave a file trail. i.e leaving the jnlp file on the desktop or saving the shortcut on the desktop and start menu.

I like the options from number 3, I just would like to know how to control them.

Under the Advanced tab you should see an entry for Shortcut Creation.
