It would be useful if the display path could be bound to a tag. I use it for an Equipment ID and with the introduction of UDT’s I have found situations where it would save time if the display path could be bound to the value of a tag.

This has been requested a few times. I think we can work it in soon. However, in this case, would it make sense to make equipment id a parameter on the data type, and reference that? (Parameters can be referenced just about anywhere in the tag definition)
