I am running Ignition version 8.0.2. I have connected a Compactlogix Revision 20 PLC that I can successfully browse to in my vision client. I can see the tags from the plc. But when I bring them into my client. It shows them as bad. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?
Are you in Trial Mode perhaps?
I would also verify you are using the legacy AB driver.
Actually, the very newest v20 firmware for both CompactLogix and ControlLogix implement the security changes that break the legacy drivers. You may need to use the new Logix driver, even though it says v21+.
