Allen-Bradley Driver Diagnostics

Hi everyone,

I am still fairly new to my current company. Upon inspecting our gateway, I noticed a few of our Allen-Bradley PLCs have diagnostics like this:

I reviewed the documentation on Inductive’s website but I am not sure what I need to do to fix these controllers. Can someone provide some insight/resources on what is happening with these controllers? They’re working just fine but I don’t think the numbers I am seeing are a good sign.

What are the CIP and number of connections set to in the driver config? Are you reading alot of AOI tags?

Check out this thread for a lot of info on optimizing Logix communications. Be aware that some of this may require you to made offline changes to the PLC program to allow optimized communications, especially if you’re using PlantPAx AOIs.

Sorry for the delay. I haven’t had a chance to dig into these PLCs yet. I have no idea what the configuration looks like. We are in some kind of contract that voids are warranty if we make changes to the PLC. I will try to get back with what information I find.
