Android Workstation prevent multiple instances

Hello,

Is there anyway to prevent Ignition Workstation to open multiple instances on Android.

We have a situation were we want users to use phone and workstation on the same mobile (limited to those 2 functions), but they are not very tech savvy.

They were taught to alternate between apps, but sometimes this still happens:

Anyway to prevent this natively, or will I have to find another way.

Thank you.

What version of Android is this?

On my OneUI v6.1 If I exit the application without closing and then choose the Perspective App again it just opens the currently running application...

This seems like standard Android behavior, so I am interested to know more about what you do to create this situation.

Thank you for the reply, and I already identified the problem.

If I create a shortcut for the app, it opens multiple instances.

If I use the Workstation app, with project auto launch, it always pushes the opened instance forward.

Consider this solved.

A clarification in terminology in case anyone in the future comes across this thread:
"Workstation" is our specific name for the desktop applications that run on Windows/MacOS/Linux to launch Perspective sessions. The mobile apps you get on Android/iOS are just called "Ignition Perspective" or "the mobile apps"; we don't have a different dedicated name for them.

Huh. Thought it was "Perspective Mobile".
