Antivirus config for Ignition server?

We use SentinelOne antivirus on our server and we are wondering if there is any best practices to follow for Ignition and SentinelOne to "coexist" peacefully in there. Is there any executables file, folder, and other things like those one that should be white listed or added to some kind of exclusion list so that our antivirus would leave them be?

Hello Sylvain_Therrien,

As long as you are able to exclude installation folders, used ports, cache folders, and java processes from inspection then it should be fine.

Our recommended port references that you should exclude - Gateway Port Reference - Ignition User Manual 8.1 - Ignition Documentation

Our typical install directory - C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition

(Mainly for Vision Clients) Our cached folders - C:\Users\{username}\.ignition

If you require more aggressive AV rules, you can follow the forum here for specific directories to whitelist Real-time anti-virus scanners
