Any idea why loopback opc connection sometimes fails?

Hi
I wonder if its my strange laptop or if its more generic issue affecting more people but sometimes when i start my laptop from the sleep mode opc loopback connection fails - maybe once a week. Most of the time simple restart helps but what steps shall i take to dig deeper in the investigation if it fails again to find out what happened? For example i did perspective elective study yesterday and today i wanted to backup the gateway with finished project for future reference and realised that OPC loopback is failing. Restart did not help and i ended up remove all permissions on OPC UA server and creating new loopback connection from scratch. Then when connection was fixed the project still did not see the tags so i ended up opening udt and refreshing the tags in the udt edit by selection from the opc browser. I feel like maybe there is a way to fix it a lot quicker. I really like Ignition but any ideas or advise in that area please?

Were you importing/exporting tags from other systems? The OPC connection name for loopback changed from v7.9 => v8+ on fresh installs, but the old name is carried in gateway backups. (The difference is just a dash in OPC-UA being removed.) Anyways, crossing that up can make a bunch of tags appear to be broken.

thanks for reply
No - i am using ignition 8.1.21 for some time without imports

@pturmel during fixing loopback connection i end up creating 2 healthy loopback connection and then removed unnecessary one. I wonder what would happen if i left multiple loopback connection - is it much bigger resource drain or it makes no difference?

Non-zero difference but probably not significant. I'd be more concerned with confusion in the designer as to which to use.
