Any Stability or Issues with New Firmware 8.1.17???
I will be upgrading from 7.9.12 to 8.1.17.

This application is still on Windows Server 2016.
Thinking of Upgrading the Operating System to Window Server 2019.

All kinds of changes, some potentially breaking. Test, test, test on a non-production server first.

Windows Server 2019 wonā€™t cause any issues, we run it with no problems. I suggest you setup a test server and convert your projects over one at a time while looking at optimizing your resources for v8.1 inheritance, event driven tags, etc. It took me about 4 months to get our system converted and optimized. Thereā€™s a lot to love in v8.1!

Thank you for feedback. Doing the test on 2019 now.

Just read the link. Thank you very much. Very helpful and detailed. If I use the installer it looks like IA did a great job ensuring the upgrade goes smooth. Going to mock up and try out 8.1.17 on Windows Server 2019 since Windows Server 2016 is now obsolete and no longer supported.
