Hi everyone,

Sepasoft publishes a Document Management module where digital work instructions can be created. Combined with the Batch Procedure module would include workflow to chain multiple steps in a process together.
Let us know if you would like a demo!
How much of the Document Management module can be used in a standalone fashion? For instance, can I pass in my own MES's LotID to associate with a document instance or do I need to purchase and use Sepasoft core modules?
The general use case is not to be a standalone module. Documents are stored as Blobs (Artifacts) in the MES database and are directly linked to mes objects.
There are [generally] definition objects and runtime objects. The typical flow is to create a master document and attach it to a definition object, then during execution, create a copy and attach it to a runtime object.
This way you have a direct link to the work that was completed and the document used.
It's a little different if the documents are read-only. If they are meant to just present information, you could probably use it as a standalone and tie it to one of the core objects like equipment or material definitions.
We implemented a digital work instruction solution using Ignition and Sepasoft for one of our customers.
Feel free to reach out for more details on the solution.
