App Ignition Perspective Android

Can you help me how to run a project that has been created in Designer Launcher to the Ignition Perspective app on Android? When I try it, the gateway on my laptop is not detected in the Ignition Perspective app on Android.

Minor technical points:

... a project that has been created in Designer Launcher

The projects are created in Designer.
Launcher is used to open the Designer application for a particular gateway.

When I try it, the gateway on my laptop is not detected in the Ignition Perspective app on Android.

  1. Is your Android device connected to WiFi on the same subnet as the gateway?
  2. Can you ping the gateway from your Android device. If not then it's not an Ignition issue (yet). You should be able to find a ping app in the Google Play store.

1.Android device is not connected to WiFi on the same subnet as the gateway

2.Is there something I missed in the way I did it?

You need to be on the same subnet or have a route setup between your WiFi access point and your Ignition gateway. If you have an IT department you should talk to them. Your question for them is, "Is it possible to connect to the Ignition gateway webserver on xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8088 from internal WiFi access point yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy?"

Your company's security policy may not allow it.
