Assistance Needed with MQTT Transmitter Connection

Good Morning All,

I’m currently experiencing difficulties connecting my MQTT transmitter to the MQTT distributor.

Setup Details:

  • MQTT Distributor Version: 4.0.21
  • MQTT Transmitter Version: 4.0.21
  • Connection URL: tcp://localhost:1883

Debugging Steps Completed:

  1. Added inbound and outbound rules for port 1883.
  2. Verified connection to the distributor using MQTT.fx with the correct user credentials. Which I can publish and subscribe.
  3. Reviewed the Cirrus Link Documentation for applicable solutions.
  4. Checked logs, which continuously display "Starting up Agent."
