I just created an Internal Audit log.

Do I need to worry about the space required on disk?

That would depend on the size of your disk and how fast the logs grows.

I personally would.
Depending on the audit type you setup the Internal type has a retention setting that will purge records from the local SQLite. If you setup a Database type then it would be up to the database admin to manage this.
