Auto and Manual alarm acknowledgement

I am using version 7.6 release in underw windows 2008 server.

Is there any way to configure alarms on tags such that auto acknowledge on clear but can also be acknowledged from the acknowedge button on the screen?

If I set the AckMode to auto then the acknowledge button does not seem to work.

Problem now resolved. We seem to have had a corrupted tag.
