Has anyone automated migrating from citec or ifix to Ignition? It appears that with Ifix I can extract all the attributes for a pump(x-y coordinates, size, tags alarms) and want to script the creation of a pump in Ignition.
You can certainly write code to create Perspective Views, but I imagine it will be a bit of work both to script it and to create the source list of things to create. Unless you have a LOT of stuff to automate the creation of and that easily lends itself to being automated, then the effort-to-cost ratio would likely prohibit it. Unless you intend to use it again, of course.
