Azure Injector 5.x - Agent Tag Creation Fails on Ignition Edge 8.3.x

I'm experiencing an issue with Azure Injector.

Tested configurations:

  • Ignition Edge 8.3.3 + Azure Injector 5.0.2 → Issue occurs
  • Ignition Edge 8.3.8 + Azure Injector 5.0.3 → Issue occurs
  • Ignition Edge 8.1.45 + Azure Injector 4.0.26 → Works correctly

When I create an Agent tag on the 8.3 versions, the error below appears, and the Agent tag is never created.

However:

  • The Sets are created successfully.
  • The Azure IoT Hub is connected correctly to my Azure server.

Using the exact same configuration on Ignition Edge 8.1.45 with Azure Injector 4.0.26, the Agent tag is created successfully without any errors.

So it appears that this issue only occurs with Azure Injector 5.x on Ignition Edge 8.3.x.
