Bad quality tags without disconnection

Greetings!

In our environment sometimes the device send bad quality to tags without a reason (look at PLC_FOOTER, HEADER and ACKNOWLEDGE and on the tags values in the Transaction Group), but the connection between the device and ignition signals that the connection is still on (the tag is directly connected to the connection between the device and the gateway).

Could this issue be related to a grapic bug? In the logs there is no warning about the disconnection, but we need to be aware of this cases because it’s impossible to write to the tags and this happens randomly

In the attachment, a video of the problem, ignition version is 8.1.15 (b2022030114), the device is connected by Omron NJ Driver. thanks for your replies!

Hello mario.colombo91,

From the video, the tags themselves look like it's going into a bad quality state. Are you able to connect the devices to a 3rd party UA Server to double check if the behavior occurs with them as well? Maybe Kepware?

The next steps would most likely be a wireshark capture to see the plc's responses. If the bad quality are legitimate responses, you can investigate that further on the device side. If you would like for us to review the capture, please open a Support Ticket and reference this forum post
